Acrostic Poem

PART I

ELIMCHLESCCAO

Envious to be emerald this year

Loves to, but should never sing or dance

Ice cream of nearly any flavor

Meesh, Shelly, Baby-face, doll-face

Cloaked in sundresses, formal dresses, flowing skirts and fitted cardigans

Hell must be like this

Lucky to have my hero of a father as a role model

Earrings, my extensive movie collection, Disneyworld, Alex & Ani bracelets, birthday cards

Stresses about anything and everything that can happen

Clumsy and can trip up the stairs

Crocs, books, heart and flowered shaped post-it sticky notes, essie nail-polish

Always think of magenta colored daisies on a tough winter day

Or else I’ll never survive the New England cold

Meesh is my name, but don’t call me Shelly–only my mom and dad can call me Baby-face and doll-face

Ice cream can always cheer me up, especially Phish Food and Chocolate Therapy both by my favorite men: Ben & Jerry

Cloaked in sundresses, formal dresses, flowing skirts and fitted cardigans

Hell must be like this. The dramatic phrase that strangely empowers me

Envious that be emerald this year.  It was announced color of the year and it is flattering on everyone

Loves to, but should NEVER sing or dance –especially not on a first date

Lucky to have my hero of a father as a role model, he inspires me to strive harder

Earrings from my father, an extensive movie collection better than most, Disney World is my heaven, Alex & Ani bracelets are fun to shake and shimmy, I collect birthday cards and still have many from when I was a child

Stressing hard means that you care too much about anything and everything that can happen

Always think of happy thoughts, like magenta colored daisies on a tough winter day

Clumsy as can be and can trip up the stairs, but also down, around and under them

Crocs, books, heart and flowered shaped post-it sticky notes, essie nail-polish are a few of my vices
